In addition to the Annual Summit that the WLFN organizes and hosts, the WLFN will begin to help organize, along with local leadership and input, quarterly regional gatherings that will be taking place around the state. Locations will vary from year to year as we want to provide equal representation from all regions in the state. These gatherings will be informative, but we plan for them to be more than a typical meeting! These gatherings will also be proactive, celebratory, and dynamic! At these quarterly meetings you will get the opportunity to:
- Learn – Hear about WLFN efforts happening around the state, regional projects and policy updates that affect you.
- Share - We want to hear from you! Provide feedback and input to the WLFN. Let us know how the WLFN can help you succeed. We want to know how we can help you and your project.
- Network - Tell others about what projects you are involved with and find out about the many other efforts happening in your own region.
Please join the WLFN to Learn, Share & Network in the many regions of Wisconsin!
All Wisconsin residents are invited to each Quarterly Gathering, but we hope that you will make a concerted effort to attend if the Quarterly Gathering will be taking place in your region.
The first Quarterly Gathering is took place in the Western Region, at the River Falls Public Library (Lower Level Meeting Room) on April 5, 2012.
There are also two additional quarterly gatherings scheduled for this year:
- July 24 2012, 11am – 3pm: Southern Region, Wisconsin Innovation Kitchen, Mineral Point, WI (Please RSVP using the form below)
