Local foods can boost farm profits, help the environment, create jobs, and improve people’s diets. Please support local foods in Wisconsin by sponsoring the Wisconsin Local Food Network and the Wisconsin Local Foods Summit.
The 2012 Summit on January 26th to 27th at Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wisconsin brought together farmers, agency staff, students, researchers, activists, and others interested in supporting local food systems in Wisconsin to share their experience and knowledge about local foods and to plan for the future. The Summit is one way the Wisconsin Local Food Network helps the many local food efforts in the state coordinate and increase their effectiveness.
We strive to keep registration fees low so that all can attend, and we offer reduced fees for students and farmers. Although we keep our costs low, in order to make the Summit accessible for all we are asking for your financial assistance.
